Thermal bliss in Bad Blumau 🌊💖
The Vulkania thermal pool was such a jol, and brekkie spread was lekka! The staff were super attentive and friendly, helping us feel at home. The whole vibe of the place is fab, like I'm living in a piece of art with that Hundertwasser style!
Finding the reception was a bit of a mission, ya know? Could use more signs, especially when you're rocking up after dark.

Had an epic group escape! The thermal baths were a highlight. It's great for activities like golf with nearby courses and tons of recreational facilities like hiking trails and a fitness center. Don’t miss the amazing food, super fresh and locals love it. The spa services were also a great way to unwind with friends!
The air conditioning wasn’t working well during our stay, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Though we managed by leaving the window open, the noise from outside was a tad distracting in the mornings.

I really enjoyed the unique thermal experiences like the outdoor hot tubs and the wonderfully relaxing sauna area. The spa was super impressive, with tons of options to unwind after a long day, though the hallway layout was a bit tricky to navigate. Definitely try to book your dining plans ahead to avoid potential hiccups! 🏖️

The unique Hundertwasser architecture is a visual feast, with whimsical designs and vibrant colors that create a truly immersive atmosphere. The Vulkania thermal pool offers relaxation with its soothing mineral water, making it an enjoyable experience, especially when the log fires are lit at night around the outdoor pool area.
Finding the entrance can be a real challenge, especially after dark when the lack of signage leaves you feeling pretty lost. I ended up at a delivery entrance at first. The layout of the hotel is quite a maze, and navigating to the reception or various facilities can mean a good bit of wandering without clear directions. The noises from other guests can break your peace throughout the night, which can be a nuisance when you’re trying to rest. I noted the food quality at the buffets was hit-or-miss. some items were unappealing and overcooked, with a definite lack of exciting flavors.

Breakfast was a feast! The amazing variety at the buffet had everything my taste buds craved. Plus, the whole hotel vibe is like a colorful treadmill where every step is a masterpiece, thanks to Hundertwasser! Oh, and those warm, burning candles and romantic decor? Chef's kiss! 🌟
Finding the reception was a bit of a mission, ya know? After dark, we ended up at the back entrance labeled 'Nur für Lieferanten' before discovering the car park. It felt a tad labyrinthine but once we found it, everything else sparkled in the chaos.

The Rogner in Bad Blumau offers a stunning visual experience with its incredible Hundertwasser architecture. The unique and colorful designs make every corner feel like a piece of art. The Vulkania thermal pool is a real highlight, providing a relaxing environment to unwind. I loved floating in the hot volcano pool while the soothing underwater music played in the background. Visiting at night, with log fires lit by the pool, created a cozy atmosphere. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was superb, featuring a wide variety that kept us satisfied throughout our stay. On our second night, I enjoyed the engaging activities offered, like Nordic walking and aqua jogging, which added variety to our trip. the check-in process was a bit frustrating as we struggled to find the reception due to poor signage. It took some time to orient ourselves in the sprawling layout of the hotel, which felt like a maze at first. The lack of clear directions made our arrival a bit chaotic, especially since we arrived after dark. It would definitely help to improve visibility with more signs. In the room, while I appreciated the peaceful environment and good mattress, the absence of individual climate control made the nights a bit uncomfortable. On our final morning, the noise from the outside disturbed our sleep, which was a letdown. If the management could better address these issues, it would elevate the experience significantly.
